AECS YPC Committee Updates – 1st ACES-YPC Event |

| The ACES-YPC 1st Networking event was held on 29 September 2017 (Friday) at NTU Alumni House. The networking event was opened to young engineers from various consultancy firms and more than 40 young engineers attended the event.
ACES – YPC committee members were introduced in the beginning of the event. The YPC committee briefed all about benefits of joining the ACES-YPC and encouraged more young engineers to join as ACES-YPC as well as to actively participate in future events. During the event, the attendees had a great time interacting and mingling with one another to share their work experiences. Young NTUC also shared with the attendees about the career mentorship programme at the event. Volunteer industry professionals will be matched with youths who need career guidance for a mentorship period of four months. Mentors will share their knowledge and expertise with the mentees, help them set career goals, resolve difficult problems and make sound career decisions. The attendees can look forward to events that will be arranged at a later date. They will be informed about the future events through ACES. Lastly, the YPC committee members would like to thank NTU Alumni Affairs Office for their generous door gifts and the sponsorship of $200 for the event as well as the attendees for their participation and support to make the event such a success! |
